The IPSJ Special Interest Group on Distributed Processing System (SIG-DPS) provides a forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners in all aspects of multimedia advanced information networks and distributed processing systems.

SIG-DPS sponsors the Workshop on Multimedia and Distributed Systems and the DPS Technical Meetings on emerging areas of multimedia communications and distributed processing systems. SIG-DPS also supports the planning and editing process of the IPSJ Journal Special Issue on these vital fields.

All IPSJ Journals and IPSJ SIG-DPS Technical Reports are available through the IPSJ Digital Library. SIG-DPS members receive a copy of the IPSJ SIG-DPS Technical Reports and a significant discount on registration fees for SIG-DPS sponsored events.
